Tuscan Road, East Didsbury

This project involved a new single storey rear extension to a 1950s semi-detached house in East Didsbury, Manchester, designed to provide much-needed additional living space for the homeowners.

Alongside the extension, the existing ground floor was remodelled to maximise usable space and improve the overall flow of the home, ensuring the new and existing areas worked together as a cohesive, functional layout.

We provided a full service from inception to completion, including architectural design and project management throughout. This encompassed tendering to secure a suitable contractor, as well as contract administration to oversee the works through to practical completion.

The result is a well-considered addition to a traditional 1950s property, sensitively extending and reconfiguring the home to better suit modern family living while respecting the character of the original house.
