New Build Padel Club, East Yorkshire

Following our experience in the leisure sector Studio Seventy Five was asked to provide design services for a new-build padel club in East Yorkshire on an existing business park.

The building comprises a steel portal frame with insulated metal cladding. The parapet emphasises the black-box aesthetic, highlighted with orange branding.

Internally, the design is raw and industrial: exposed steel, galvanised ductwork and sealed concrete with painted blockwork walls, warmed by backlit oak, cognac leather and the club’s signature orange. A double-height café-bar sits at the heart of the club, serving coffee by day and drinks after games, with a mezzanine lounge above that looks straight down onto the courts. Other spaces include changing areas and a large gym.
