First Opinion Veterinary Clinic, Kent

Working within the footprint of the existing building, the brief is to reconfigure and refurbish the established practice to create a more relaxed, more welcoming experience for pets, owners and staff alike.

Our brief was to make more of a modest floor plan. By reworking the existing layout, we created a more generous waiting area and a third consultation room without extending the building. Behind the scenes, the back-of-house clinical areas will be refurbished to support the practice’s day-to-day work, and the building will be brought into line with current Building Regulations. We worked with the Client to develop the material palette to reflect their existing branding.

The next phase of the project is to develop the design and produce construction information for the Client’s contractor.
